       2000-05: small and medium enterprise (SME) research

       2005: Fulbright-Kennan research scholar; weekly columnist to Izvestia newspaper

       2006-11: adviser, Bank of Russia

       2012 - : professor at FINEC

       September 2013 - : director, Center for Advanced Studies, FINEC

Born in 1949 and ever since living in Moscow; married; three children and six grandchildren.
